What are acoustic doors?

Today’s home and work environments can greatly benefit from acoustic doors. They are suitable for areas that require higher sound insulation that usual as in schools, clinics, studios and other others that need sound control through the doorway.

With the help of acoustic doors, any interactions that are private are confined to the right space.

Retrofitted sliding door sound proofing

There are variations for acoustic door applications, depending on the location and room’s function.

The Quash™ secondary aluminium door is integral to reducing the transfer of noise from outside to inside. This is an add-on glazing system that creates a double glazed unit which reduces noise transmission through existing doors by up to 70%.

The Quash team provided sound panels for our small office which is made from cool room panels. This meant it was almost impossible for more than one person at a time to speak in our office.
We did it on a budget so funds were limited. Quash allowed for this and solved the problem very effectively. I would not hesitate to recommend Quash for any soundproofing job, big or small!

The staff at quash are fantastic, you really can't fault their customer service, knowledge and field workers. Their pricing was also very competitive for arguably a better product then something like magnetite. Initial impressions are that our neighbour noise issue is now resolved and the product and finish of the window looks like it was always there. The only thing I overlooked in the process was the need to relocate the blind, as it's now out of the window recess it's not as effective as it once was and now that the noise is solved I have a light issue :). At any rate I think it will be an easy fix as there is room to squeeze a aluminium Venetian between the two windows so that's now on my DIY list. The folk at quash are very knowledgable so if you have a noise problem definitely consider them.
