The right fix depends entirely on what’s causing the noise and the path it travels into your space. A bedroom troubled by traffic noise through a window is a completely different job to an apartment sharing a wall with noisy neighbours – and treating the wrong thing wastes money. That’s why Quash never quotes off the cuff: we identify the cause first, then price the treatment that actually solves it.
What determines the cost
The noise source and path. Airborne noise (voices, TV, traffic) and impact noise (footsteps, machinery vibration) need different treatments. The path – window, wall, ceiling or floor – determines which we treat.
The treatment. Options range from secondary glazing on a single window, to acoustic wall systems with Tecsound membrane, ceiling build-ups, independently tested acoustic doors, and full plant enclosures for industrial sites.
The area treated. Costs scale with the wall, ceiling, window and door area involved – which is why accurate measurements give you a much sharper estimate than any ballpark.
