What kind of noise does air traffic produce?

Overhead air traffic, planes taking off and landing and general airport noise can come in a range of low to high frequencies, each of which requires a specific type of sound proofing. This noise can be disruptive, especially when trying to get some sleep.

The best approach to stopping overhead noise issues is to sound proof ceilings (including vents or any gaps), walls and windows. This kind of sound proofing approach is also effective for:

The staff at quash are fantastic, you really can't fault their customer service, knowledge and field workers. Their pricing was also very competitive for arguably a better product then something like magnetite. Initial impressions are that our neighbour noise issue is now resolved and the product and finish of the window looks like it was always there. The only thing I overlooked in the process was the need to relocate the blind, as it's now out of the window recess it's not as effective as it once was and now that the noise is solved I have a light issue :). At any rate I think it will be an easy fix as there is room to squeeze a aluminium Venetian between the two windows so that's now on my DIY list. The folk at quash are very knowledgable so if you have a noise problem definitely consider them.

We had secondary glazing installed about 3-4 weeks ago in 2 bedrooms by a guy called Reece who did an amazing job and was really friendly and professional throughout the whole process. It's cut down the noise levels significantly and we're extremely grateful for choosing Quash, we'll recommend Quash to all our friends and family 🙂
