Meninas Grill is a Spanish steakhouse on Beaufort Street, Highgate, known for its paella, grill and wine. It holds official Restaurant from Spain recognition and Coeliac Australia accreditation, and was named European Restaurant of the Year in 2026.
Problem
With a full fine dining room, noise and echo can build quickly and make it harder for guests and staff to hear each other. Meninas wanted to keep the energy of a busy room while making it comfortable to talk.
Solution & Outcome
Our restaurant soundproofing solution was 50mm black Quietspace acoustic panels throughout the fine dining area. Two panels were suspended over the bar. The rest were laid out to suit the room and fixed directly to the ceiling between the existing services. The dark panels blend into the ceiling, so the room keeps its look while absorbing the echo.
