Water Corporation is the principal supplier of water, wastewater and drainage services throughout the state of Western Australia.
Problem
Tonal noise (noise that is concentrated and can be extremely irritating) emitted from both the vacuum pump and main compressor units was affecting training capabilities and staff productivity within the building.
Solution & Outcome
Quash was engaged to reduce this mechanical noise and created a bespoke system the would both block and absorb the noise.
To do this, we created a small vacuum pump enclosure to address the noise directly and a large overall enclosure to address the overall noise.
